If you have a Apple TV and want to get more out of it you can hack it to do more. Depending on if you have a 1st or 2nd gen device will depend upon which hack to use. By far I would recommend this software from Fire Core. I have used this on a first gen device and I can now use the USb port to connect a external or flash drive to view video, pictures or play music. This port is set up byApple for service only. Until after you hack it. With this software you can also install XBMC and a couple of other media server applications. You can also install a browser and use it like a mini media server.
