This is one of the coolest gadgets I have ever seen! Maybe it’s due to that nerdy little feeling I get when I look at this and think of a light saber from Star Wars. As cool as it seems what on Earth would the average person use this for? Or need it for? Especially at $300 for a 300mW version. Or if you want to get really out of this world $999 for a 1000mW beast!
Now these are not toys. They’re actually very dangerous. The site warns not to ever point at another person, living thing, or even air craft. You can’t even use one of these as a gun sight. So all in all this is a very pricey toy to just…point at the ground??
