How to add missing iTunes album art

If you don’t stay on top of organizing your library you can get it back on track with the help of a couple of sites and some dedicated time. If your library is just a complete mess you can use a program called rinse. It’s free download and comes with a free trial. This program will remove duplicate songs, correct misspelled songs and artist details, add missing art work and refine genres in your library. If you are just looking to add some art work to a few missing CD’s there are a couple of site that can help. The first site is Coverhunt they can help with most art work. The next site is Album Art Exchange. Here you can find high quality images to add to your music collection. Now that you have the sites here is how you add the art.

First find the artist missing art work.

Next search for the artist or album title in the site of your choice (in this case I used Album Art Exchange)

After selecting the one you want it will open an enlarged image of the art work. Just right-click the image and “copy” the image. Go back into iTunes and select all the songs of the album you want to set the image to. You can copy the image to entire album by selecting the first song of the album then while holding the shift key click on the last song of the album. This will highlight all the songs in the album.

Then right-click and paste the image in the lower left corner of iTunes where it states “Drag Album Artwork Here”

Once it copies over the Artwork all you need to do is sync your device with iTunes so the Artwork will show when listening to that album.

I hope you find this helpful. If you have any questions on this please leave a comment.
