This game uses a cover system much like the one used in the Gears of War games. It enables you to hide behind cover during game play. The graphics are smooth and textured and the detail is gorgeous on this game. There is also integration of mini games, in some parts of the game you will need to hack into certain areas to special weapons or items. In this mini game you will need to solve a puzzle to gain access to the item. In the story you take on the role of John Slade. Who is a professional bounty hunter, the time takes place in the year 2350. With the help of Slade’s personal android assistant S.A.R.A. you are to track down geneticist Dr. Edgar Simon and infiltrate his mountain fortress. His fortress is guarded by mutants, cyborgs and genetically enhanced humanoids. The story is written by Award winning author Micah Nathan who was Madfiniger’s executive creative consultant on this project.
Playing this game on the iPad is absolutely awesome! The game has a creative pallet of color that is very catching to the eye.
Shadowgun has 7.99 price tag on the App store but for this quality of game that is so close to console standards is a deal!
