Make Call and Settings shortcuts on your home screen w/o Jailbreak

Until now you had to jailbreak your iPhone in order to use a shortcut to your settings. With a tweak called SBSettings from Cydia you are able to get quick access to functions like WiFi, Brightness, 3G, Airplane and many other functions, but you had to jailbreak your device to use this. Now you can get “Icon Project” from the App Store for .99 that will allow you to do a very similar thing and with out a jailbreak. So if you weren’t interested in a jailbreak or are waiting until a untethered jailbreak is available this could be your answer. This also works on iPad.

The app is fairly easy to use and lets you do wide variety of icon customizations. You can choose or take a pic for the icon and you can name your icon as well as include text on the icon itself. Making a call, or text shortcut with the apps’ included icons or images is also very easy. The most important part about making a shortcut icon with this app is the code. You will need to know the codes to make any other icons than what is listed within the app. I will list these codes below and if you decide to manually type in the code you MUST make sure that it is entered exactly as it appears. The code is case-sensitive, if not entered correctly it will not work. I recommend you copy and save the codes to your notes app. Once saved you can copy and paste the code that you want over to the Icon Project app. Watch the video on how to make a shortcut icon.
