You can say this is the new Blademaster to wipe all the others out. Razer announced that it will be launching the “Blade”, a new piece of equipment that is supposedly a multi-screen killing machine according to it’s creators.
It’s a larger incarnated version of its predecessor the Razer Switchblade, this new one will have a 2 1/2 battery life for intense computer output and 6 for idling. It will have a 2.8GHz Intel Core i7 2640M Processor, 8GB 1333MHz DDR3 Memory, 17.3″ LED Backlit Display that screens resolution is 1920×1080, Nvidia GeForce GT 555M with Nvidia Optimus Technology, 2Gb Dedicated GDDR5 video memory, built-in high definition webcam, integrated 60Wh Battery, 320Gb 7200rpm SATA HDD, wireless network 802.11 b/g/n compatible, and it’s 16.81″ in width and 10.9″ in depth, 0.88″ in height and 6.97lbs in weight. Something very nifty if you want to play it during a decent roadtrip at night, but for the most part just if you’re by a power outlet. It also has 10 gaming keys that can adapt according to the games functions, and a 7 inch monitor on the keypad which looks pretty gnarly.
It runs for $2,800 and is going to sell around the fourth quarter this year. It’s definitely for a dedicated gamer.
