A great FPS multiplayer experience on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch

If you’re a “Hardcore Gamer” and want a mobile first person shooter multiplayer game then Warm Gun may be your ticket. Emotional Robots Inc has come out with a title set in the old west but with a futuristic steam punk like feel. There are seven maps to do battle on (Ragdoll, Lowside, Attrition, Dear Lord, Overdrive and Boardwalk) each with its own unique setting and four more maps are in the works (Whiskey Town, Warlock, Cargo and Redline), but what makes this game a little more fun to play is that you can play off line against AI or if you want a human challengers go on-line and get that multiplayer fix but you will need to sign up for a Gamespy account to play. There are four characters to select, The Shaman, The Blacksmith, The 49’er and The Preacher.  Each has their own unique weapons and each one has a primary a secondary and grenade or explosive. Warm Gun is based on the Unreal engine so the graphics are sharp detailed and vibrant. I am a huge fan of this game engine so just about any game that uses this has me by the… well let’s just say I love to play any game based from UDK. On the down side playing a game like this with on-screen controls makes it a bit difficult and challenging. If you have Flings or Mini Flings definitely use them it makes for a better experience and these have dropped in price and are very affordable. Warm Gun is a fast paced FPS and a great multiplayer game on iOS and will set you back $4.99 or if you want to check it out before hand you can get Warm Gun Carnival of Bullets for free.
