O.R.B. Bluetooth headset Ring

Hybra Advanced Technology a product development company based in Traverse City, Michigan have a new product on the horizon. This cutting edge product can be worn on your person and combines fashion, style and technology in one small package. Imagine feeling a vibration alert, on your finger! and as you look down at a your O.R.B (Orbital Ring Bluetooth) ring you can see the caller ID of an incoming call or the message from a previously set reminder scroll across a small screen. Now imagine when receiving a call you feel the ring vibrate. Then you remove the ring and with a twist the ring rotates open and is placed over the top of your ear to take the incoming call on a now Bluetooth ear piece! sounds incredible right?! 

Using NXT’s bone conduction audio technology the O.R.B. delivers sound without having to be placed in the ear. Dual mics with noise cancellation provides a clearer call quality and the device will also be waterproof. The deluxe version will have  a FOLED display ( Flexible Organic LED) on the outer area of the ring and will be able to display Caller ID, reminders and Voice to text information. The ring will be available in different colors and sizes and a customizable limited edition will be offered. The limited editions can be customized with precious metals and even fitted with stones or gems.

No pricing has been confirmed as of yet but are rumored to be about $129 to $179 when finally released. The O.R.B. is not released yet but you can stay informed if you head over to their site.

    Don’t be fooled, this company has been promising this device for 5 years now and has zero updates or news about progress. If they were going to make it, they would have by now. It’s a Photoshop and a dream, but they aren’t going to make this, which is sad. They should’ve sold the rights to apple and let them make it, since they aren’t. The price is also just a dream, they have no idea how much it’s going to cost, since they haven’t even made a prototype yet. This ring is a fantacy, that is all.
